ON/OFF SERIE
Au travers de cette série, l’artiste commente d’une manière graphique et sous entendue l’évolution de nos sociétés. En utilisant la représentation de textes en néons, allumés et éteint, il détourne le sens global de la phrase pour mettre en valeur un mot en particulier, créant ainsi une dualité subtile entre la phrase et le mot isolé.
La phrase « Come Together » a pour but de pointer du doigt les rapports humains au sien de nos sociétés modernes de plus en plus individualiste.
Le mot « Come » symbolisant la vison du futur, la vision d’un futur synonyme d’ambition personnelle, de règne de l’individu, de toute puissance du « moi d’abord » au détriment d’un sentiment d’appartenance global a quelque chose de plus sacré, de supérieur spirituellement.
Car, en effet, c’est bien le « Together » qui permet a l’esprit humain de s’enrichir, de s’élever, de se grandir, de s’ouvrir sur des pensées et des espaces nouveaux, d’explorer le diffèrent et l’inconnu.
La dualité crée par le « come « individualiste, ambitieux, capitaliste, et le « Together » spirituel, sacré, humain, tolérant, met l’accent sur la trajectoire binaire que peut suivre une société. Elle peut choisir le partage, le respect des traditions, le respect des origines, ou la course individualiste sans fin vers un futur peu reluisant ou l’écrasement des petits n’entrainera que souffrance et conflits.. Elle interroge d’une manière subtile le spectateur sur la vie qu’il mène lui même, sur sa contribution personnelle au « Come » ou au « Together ».
Respect il ses aspirations personnel ? Est il en accord avec lui même, ou subit il malgré lui la course vers le « Come ». ?

Through this series, the artist comments in a graphic and subtle way, the evolution of our societies. Using the representation of texts in neon, on and off, he diverts the overall meaning of the sentence to emphasize a particular word, thus creating a subtle duality between the sentence and the isolated word.
The purpose of the phrase “Come Together” is to point out the human relationships with one’s own in our increasingly individualistic modern societies.
The word “Come” symbolizing the vision of the future, the vision of a future synonymous with personal ambition, the reign of the individual, the omnipotence of “me first” to the detriment of a feeling of global belonging has something more sacred, higher spiritually.
Because, in fact, it is the “Together” which allows the human spirit to enrich itself, to rise, to grow, to open up to new thoughts and spaces, to explore the differ and the unknown.
The duality created by the individualist, ambitious, capitalist “come” and the spiritual, sacred, human, tolerant “Together” emphasizes the binary trajectory that a society can follow. She can choose sharing, respect for traditions, respect for origins, or the endless individualistic race towards a gloomy future where the crushing of the little ones will only lead to suffering and conflicts. She questions in a subtle way the spectator on the life he leads himself, on his personal contribution to the “Come” or to the “Together”.
Does he respect his personal aspirations? Is he in agreement with himself, or he undergoes the race towards the “Come” in spite of himself. ?
